Riverwalk Concert Series continues
July 19 with Unemployed Eleven
The Unemployed Eleven, also known as the Campanile Big Band, will play big band era swing music at the band shell near Trig's in downtown Rhinelander starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 19.
Members include Mike Schultz, alto saxophone, from Arbor Vitae; Kate Rahimzadeh, alto and tenor saxophone, from Arbor Vitae; Marilyn Pekol, tenor saxophone, from Rhinelander; Al Merkel, baritone saxophone, from Rhinelander; Pete Ladwig, trumpet, from Saint Germain; Barb Ladwig, trumpet, from Saint Germain; Robert Hanson, trombone, from Minocqua; Jim Hall, trombone, from Minocqua; Dan Scholton, tuba, from Minocqua; Randy Augustinak, drums, from Land O'Lakes; Laurie Timm, vocals, from Arbor Vitae; and Ruth Warbalow, keyboard, from Minocqua.
Concerts on the Riverwalk are free and some benches are available, organizers said in a press release. Listeners are urged to bring lawn chairs, refreshments, bug spray and a few bucks for the donation bucket. Free popcorn will be served.
