Bushels of Blessings Fest to be held
The third annual Bushels of Blessings Fest will be held Saturday, Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tomahawk Middle School. This event is hosted by the Northwoods Vineyard Church and is designed to a be a family friendly event, where you can be blessed and be a blessing to others, organizers said in a press release.
The event will feature crafters and home-based product vendors.
"At this time we have crafters selling quilts and runners, jewelry, stamping, knitting, oil paintings, baskets, computer art, drawings, tie blankets, baby blankets, hats and scarves," the release states. "We have vendor booths for Thirty one, Childrens Books, Norwex, Tupperware, Young Living, Lula roe, Scentsy, Tax Services and Pampered Chef. If you have crafts to sell or a home- based business not mentioned here, there are still booths available." Call Sandy at 715-453-5089 by Friday, Oct. 13 to reserve your spot. Ten-foot booths are $25 and 20-foot booths are $40.
New at this year's festival will be an expanded children's carnival with fun games and activities for the kids. A homemade chili and pie lunch will be available in the cafeteria or for carryout. There will also be a bake sale, raffle baskets and a silent auction, with all the funds raised to be donated to various local and international missions supported by the Northwoods Vineyard Church.
The groups who will benefit from the funds generated by this event include the Happy Kids Backpack Program, Compassion International, Operation Christmas Child, the Free Food Truck event, and missionaries John and Sharon Novitski who are located in Managua, Nicaragua.
