10/12/2017 7:28:00 AM ArtStart offering creative workshop for older adults
ArtStart is offering a free, creative workshop for adults age 60 and over. The class will take place Monday, Oct. 16 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at ArtStart, 68 S. Stevens Street, Rhinelander. The Helen Daniels Bader Fund, a Bader Philanthropy, has provided a grant to fund this program, organizers said in a press release. Instructors are specially trained art students from the University of Milwaukee's Peck School of the Arts. No previous art experience is required.
"We are pleased to have been selected by UW Milwaukee to host this workshop," said Ashley McLaughlin, program/operations director for ArtStart. "One of ArtStart's goals is to expand opportunities for creativity for members of our community. We have a successful children's arts program and are excited to be able to offer a course for older adults."
To register for this free workshop, contact McLaughlin at 715-362-4328 or email@example.com.
