Transitions Center now under new ownership
Transitions Center, an outpatient Mental Health and AODA treatment facility, recently exchanged ownership.
Rita Wege and her husband Bryan purchased the clinic at the beginning of January, according to a press release.
"Ms. Wege, a Licensed Professional Counselor, has been providing mental health and substance abuse treatment services at Transitions Center for several years," the release states. "The original founders of the agency, Richard Martin and Linda DeMill, are looking forward to retirement after providing decades of therapeutic services to the community."
Rick and Linda originally purchased the property in 2006. They transformed the historic house into a counseling agency, which includes offices for up to six counselors. Ms. Wege, wanting to preserve the unique, comfortable atmosphere of the clinic that Rick and Linda created, made the decision to purchase the agency, the release states. Ms DeMill will continue providing counseling services up until April 2018. Rita, along with Alyssa Borski, MS, LPC, SAS; Kim Haas, MS, LPC, SAS; and Lynn Feldman, MS, LPC, SAS, will continue to provide mental health and substance abuse treatment services at Transitions Center. Misty Husby will continue to serve as office manager for the clinic. Transitions Center is a state-certified outpatient mental health and alcohol and drug treatment clinic, located at 22 North Pelham St. in Rhinelander. Transitions Center is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend sessions are available by appointment. To schedule an appointment, call (715) 365-6696.
