2/10/2018 7:25:00 AM Demmer Library offers class on Microsoft Word
The Demmer Library in Three Lakes will host a computer class entitled, "Inside Microsoft Word" with two dates, Friday, Feb. 16 at 1 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. This class will be held in the lower level of the Demmer Library and is free to the public, according to a press release.
"Several people have requested this subject be covered in a class," the release states. "Word processors are used daily for letter writing, taking minutes for a club meeting, to making website documents. With these uses come many features beyond the basics. Librarian Andrew Johnson says, 'Many people come to the library needing to use common office programs like Word. When they hit a roadblock and I show them a new feature or a method they didn't know, they ask questions about what else do they not know. I want to help people better use the tools we all use!'"
If you cannot attend this class, but still have computer questions, stop in or call to schedule an individual appointment any day of the week, the release states.
