Woodruff: lake tomahawk american legion/auxiliary post 318 poppy distribution- 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Brandy Lake BP. Honor the fallen, support the living. Donations will be accepted to support veterans, active-duty military personnel and their families with medical and financial needs.
Saturday, May 25
HARSHAW: HONORING OUR VETERANS -The annual Harshaw Memorial Ceremony will take place at 11:30 a.m. at Union Grove Cemetery's Veterans Memorial on Lakewood Road. Lunch will be served at the town hall following the ceremony.

Three Lakes: three lakes american legion memorial day celebration- 10 a.m. procession from Three Lakes Winery to Three Lakes Cemetery. 10:15 a.m. program at the Cemetery.
Lake tomahawk: memorial day service- 11 a.m. Wilderness Rest Cemetery. The public is invited to join in honoring past veterans and military at the Veterans Day Memorial Ceremony presented by Colin F. Shultz American Legion Post 318 Honor Guard. Bring a chair. Coffee and donuts to follow the ceremony at the post hall at 7986 Choate Blvd.
Rhinelander: Rhinelander Memorial Day Celebration- 11 a.m. John and Dori Brown Performing Arts Center at Rhinelander High School. The emcee will be local attorney and Navy veteran Brian Bennett. The guest speaker will be Rep. Rob Swearingen. The ceremony will also include remarks from Rhinelander Mayor Chris Frederickson and County Board Chairmen David Hintz, music, and a roll call of the Oneida County veterans who died between May 1, 2018 and May 1, 2019.
