Many products are available at the farmers' market early in the season. Looking for fresh veggies? Lettuce, bunching (spring) onions, radishes, microgreens, mushrooms, and very soon peas, will be available.
Looking for other delicious edibles? The market has vendors selling pork, goat cheese, chicken, eggs, breads, and cookies. Locally produced maple syrup can also be found at the market. Then, of course, there are canned goods: pickles, sauerkraut, relishes, fruit syrups, apple butter, jams and jellies.
The market also has some craft items including beautiful cutting boards, woven rugs, small decorative animals made made from wool, embroidered flour sack towels, recycled crayons, crocheted and knitted dish rags, potholders, and rag rugs.
There's something for everyone at the Hodag Farmers Market. Visit us every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pioneer Park.
