6/27/2019 7:28:00 AM Act III to make Three Lakes Concerts in the Park debut
A new Northwoods group, Act III, will make their Three Lakes Concerts in the Park debut at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 2.
This new group plays a variety of favorite tunes of the 20th and 21st centuries that will have you singing along, concert organizers said in a press release. This trio of musicians employs versatile instrumentation, and make the old songs sound new while bringing a fresh spin to contemporary hits, the release states. They use keyboards, guitar, flute, sax, clarinet, bass and percussion to back the vocals to blend new with old for a unique concert experience.
The Concerts in the Park series is presented by the Three Lakes Historical Society. The free concerts are held at the gazebo in Cy Williams Park each Tuesday evening through Aug. 6 with different Northwoods groups featured each week.
Attendees are invited to pack a picnic and a blanket or chair; popcorn, soda, water and cider will be for sale. All proceeds benefit the Three Lakes Historical Society and Museum.
Concerts are held rain or shine. The rain location is the Three Lakes High School auditorium. For more information, call 715.546.2295 or visit www.facebook.com/ThreeLakesHistory.
