9/5/2019 7:28:00 AM Pine Grove Community Church offers youth programs
Another year of AWANA and Youth Group at Pine Grove Community Church will begin Sept. 11.
AWANA is an international ministry program that gives children age 3 years to - 5th/6th grade (divided into three age-appropriate clubs) an opportunity to know, love, and serve Jesus, no matter their background. Each evening consists of games, songs, and learning about the Bible, according to a Pine Grove press release.
Youth Group is for middle and high school students (grades 6-12).
"Our Youth Group is a place for students to bring their friends, hear the gospel, and grow in Christ," the release states. "In addition to learning from the Bible, we play games, sing, and have fun together."
The fall kick-off event and registration night for both groups starts at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 11 at Pine Grove, 1360 N. Stevens Street in Rhinelander. The whole family is invited to come for hot dogs, treats, an obstacle course and games for all ages.
Regular club nights start Sept. 18 at 6:30 p.m. and meet weekly on Wednesdays whenever school is in session. There are no fees to participate in any of the clubs. For more information about Pine Grove and these clubs, visit www.pgcc.us.
