Aspirus and Ascension establish phone lines for COVID-19 questions

To prevent the spread of the virus and provide the most appropriate care to the communities served, Aspirus and Ascension Wisconsin have both established a phone line for people concerned they might be infected with COVID-19.

Aspirus's dedicated line will be operational and staffed by live operators from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends, according to a press release.

Operators will direct callers to the closest regional testing location if they need to see a medical professional.

The symptoms of COVID-19 are similar to those of influenza. They include fever, cough and shortness of breath.

Aspirus is prepared for COVID-19 and will continue to provide vital health service to the community, the release notes.

For more information, visit or the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website.

The Aspirus call center number is 1-844-568-070.

Hours of Operation:

7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday

8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday

Ascension phone line

Ascension Wisconsin has also established a toll-free information line for COVID-19 questions.

This can be accessed 24/7 by calling 1-833-981-0711.

"The launch of this service is intended to provide useful information to those in the community who have questions about COVID-19 and symptoms and is an effort to reduce the number of incoming calls to our hospitals and clinics," according to an Ascension press relrease. "We ask that this resource be utilized only with questions about COVID-19 and its symptoms."
