With the overwhelming support of local businesses and community supporters, the Rhinelander Kiwanis Club raised over $24,000 at its 33rd annual Winter Escapes Extravaganza.
The event, held March 7, attracted a standing-room only crowd for a night of fun and prizes, according to Kiwanis press release.

Additionally, more than 100 prizes and cash donated by Rhinelander area businesses were given away during the festivities. All of the money raised during Winter Escapes will be donated to programs, projects and organizations that support Rhinelander area children. In its 33-year history, Winter Escapes has raised over $425,000, all of which has been donated to benefit Rhinelander area children.
