Respect for Life Walk
On Saturday, Jan.19, Father Maria from Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church and Pastor Rod Ankrom from Calvary Baptist Church of Rhinelander led a prayer service at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church followed by a 1.3 mile walk through six inches of freshly fallen snow to Nativity of our Lord Cemetery. Father Maria and Pastor Rod were led by the 4th Degree KC Honor Guard Assembly 1221 of Rhinelander to the Altar and Father Maria read the Prayers of Reflections from the 9 days for Life followed by Pastor Rod saying a prayer for the unborn, organizers said in a press release.
